Soft Punch plays indiepop inspired by old synthesizers, everyday issues and a small dose of jazz. The songs are characterized by groovy drum- and bass riffs, atmospheric guitars and catchy melodies. This also applies to So Don`t You Go, which deals with asymmetric relationships where one is giving up while the other one tries to keep it together.
The genre, dispite their musikal background, is a reaction to maybe a little too much jazz from their schooldays. Nevertheless, one can hear that the music is characterized by instruments from jazz, that they haven`t completely managed to relinquish.
So Don`t You Go will be released on Diamond Club on november 24.
