Slaughter Beach are out with their new EP Heroic Dose
“With ‘Heroic Dose’ we chose to mix and master it ourselves because we wanted to maintain absolute control over the outcome,” explain the band of the release. “We felt that we needed to be behind the mixing and production in order to achieve the sound we had in mind for the EP. We wanted it to be something new but with a few nods to our past. We feel that we are taking some risks with this one production-wise and are very excited with how people are going to react to it. Heroic Dose is a statement of the movement we strive for artistically. We wish for it to signal that we’re not interested in settling with being yet another rad indie lo-fi band. That we are more curious and ambitious than that.”
