New signing: Novo Amor (UK)

Emerging artist ‘Novo Amor’ releases his highly anticipated 2nd EP ‘Woodgate, NY’ via Brilliance Records.

This beautifully self produced record comprises of four powerful songs that conjure up images of fragility and a depth of beauty inspired by a callow first love. These well-composed pieces of music were written and recorded between a converted barn in The Lake District, and a makeshift studio within his Welsh home.

“Each song is a moment of Zen. Lacey’s voice isn’t the first thing you notice about his music, but his haunting, falsetto whisper will be ringing in your ears for days once you’ve heard it”.

Stylistically compared to the likes of Bon Iver, James Vincent McMorrow and Sigur Ros, the shy musical works of Novo Amor are to where his heart is poured.

The multi-instrumentalist producer behind Novo Amor is Ali Lacey, a Welsh born songwriter. Over the past year Novo Amor has been attracting acclaim from influential broadcasters such as Jen Long and Adam Walton, as well as drawing in a strong global audience while landing himself sync deals from highly reputable companies. ‘Woodgate, NY’ is Novo Amors second EP, which includes his distinguished single ‘From Gold’.

“I’m really excited to be sharing this new record with the world. These songs are very personal to me, musically and lyrically. I feel this is a major progression from the first EP ‘Drift’… I am very happy to be releasing my latest work with Norwegian record label ‘Brilliance Records’.

‘Woodgate, NY’ will be released digitally and on 12” vinyl on Monday 31st of March through Brilliance Records.
