In 2010, Morten Lohne’s bedroom went from just being another young man’s bedroom, to being a hotbed for electrical universes of audio, centered on the quest for the warm, the organic and the ravishing. Armed with a computer, a keyboard, softsynths, and a crystal clear voice of vulnerable flannel, Lohne wages a melodic indie-war against monotonous electronica. It sounds like James Blake, Mew, Bon Iver and Sigur Rós at an after party in the garden of Death Cab For Cutie. Lohne’s universe has gradually transcended the four walls of his bedroom, and the promising, young producer has performed as a solo artist regularly and been played on the radio.
