24 year old Kaja Gunnufsen from Oslo is a songwriter who stands out with her unfiltered, direct, ironic and sometimes sad lyrics in Norwegian. Kaja gives the folkpop genre a new and exciting face as she plays freely with musical harmonies and lyrical magic.
She grew up with Neil Young as an example, and has taken much inspiration from his simple and catchy melodies. Her personal presence on stage has made her a popular live act already.
Diamond Club released the single “Au” in January, produced by Kenneth Ishak (Heyerdahl). New recordings are on its way.
Already booked to festivals like Slottsfjell and Øyafestival.
